A Small Spring Collage

I am having so much fun using my Character Construction stamps by Catherine Moore! This girl is from the Timekeeper's Garden set.

I stamped the girl onto patterned script paper and fussy cut her out. Her legs, sleeve and pocket were stamped on light teal colored paper and then glued onto her body. The rest of her was chalked.

The collage was attached to a springy green piece of patterned paper (from my stash). The pink flowers (Jolee's), banner pieces (Stampin' Up punch), words (Splash of Color), flower, epoxy heart and butterfly wings were added to complete the collage.

I placed an order for more CC stamps - there are lots of different sets to choose from. I can hardly wait to make more collages!

Spring and a Happy Birthday card

Is it Spring? The calendar says so, but.... we had snow last night! It did melt today and the robins are out, so maybe this cold, snowy winter is almost over. Weatherman says it will be 60+ degrees on Monday - perfect timing for March to "go out like a lamb".

I'd like to share my Smashbook page for the Life in Details blog. We were to do a page about Spring or Fall, depending on which part of the world we live in.

Next up is a birthday card I made with the Party Day kit from Crate Paper. This is for the Speedy Scrappers store. I am a new design team member for Speedy Scrappers. Not only do they have an actual brick and mortar store in Troy, Illinois, but they have a wonderful online store too. Check out all the great paper kits and more!

Bunny Spools

I think it's fun to decorate spools! Here are two bunny spools I made for Gecko Galz
I sized the bunnies in Photoshop, cut them out and inked them with brown chalk ink. Chalk ink was used to color top ends of spools and edges. The spools were wrapped in papers from the Solarium paper pack. I glued the bunnies to small craft sticks and added flowers, decorative trim and ribbon.

Supplies: Solarium paper pack: The Greenhouse & Shadow of the Day

Hip Hop Easter papers #1 & #2

spools – JoAnn Fabrics

Colorbox Chalk inks

Prima flowers (yellow)

Blue flower, doily trim, craft sticks, ribbon from my stash
